Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2020, Ann Margret was so cool in this movie, the best I've ever seen her (well, except maybe for the snow bunny bit). The neighborhood seems inspired by those sunny 1940s comedies and 1950s sitcoms in which the neighbors were all part of one big, nosy, inquisitive family. A typical performance by Matthau & Lemmon that was no less enjoyable by viewing on VCR where the playback is not the same quality as DVD.
